While presenting facts was essential, I believed that truly connecting with an audience required more; sharing opinions, offering reviews, and evoking emotion. This belief now drives my approach to direct-to-consumer marketing. Great storytelling begins and ends with emotion. Whatever feeling you want your audience to experience, it should compel them to engage, take action, and connect with your brand.
